I am the founder and Director of Headway. I have extensive experience in the delivery of counselling and therapy, working with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems and workplace issues. I enjoy getting to know my clients well. I try to help my clients become more aware of their thinking, behaviour and relationship patterns and how these factors influence mental health. I am passionate about a holistic approach and interested in how other services such as exercise can provide complementary support to clients suffering from various mental health challenges.
My special interests are high performance and leadership. A long time ago I played WAFL football and represented WA in athletics. With this background, I tend to work with athletes, medical professionals and other high performers to not only improve desired outcomes, but also to lead a better life. I provide services to business owners and leaders in a mentoring capacity to help develop the necessary skills and capacity for leading people. I enjoy working with leaders as I appreciate the complexity that comes with developing and supporting a team of people. I also continue to consult intermittently to the West Coast Eagles and am the current psychologist for the WA Cricket Men’s team.
