Hello, I’m Caitlin, a psychologist with 10 years of experience, currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology. Across my professional experience, I have worked with people facing a broad range of mental health difficulties and am especially passionate about supporting those who have previously felt misunderstood, overlooked, or unsupported within care systems.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families presenting with a range of concerns including eating and body image difficulties, anxious disorders, parenting challenges, neurodivergence, relational challenges, and the effects of trauma. My approach focuses on helping clients develop greater self-understanding and practical strategies to support more compassionate and sustainable relationships with themselves and others. I work from a neurodiversity-affirming, body-affirming, and size-inclusive framework.
Alongside ongoing professional development and postgraduate training, I have received training in a number of evidence-based therapies, including CBT-E, Schema Therapy, attachment-based therapies and EMDR.
I view therapy as a collaborative and individualised process that should be responsive to each person’s unique experiences, goals, and circumstances. Where appropriate, I work alongside clients’ wider support networks and treatment teams to create flexible treatment plans tailored to their needs.
What I value most about this work is developing meaningful therapeutic relationships and supporting clients to feel more connected with themselves, whilst moving toward lives that align with their values and sense of identity.
