My name is Brittany, and I’m a registered psychologist who supports people at every stage of life as they navigate change and life’s ups and downs. I believe everyone deserves a safe, welcoming space to explore challenges and find ways forward. I particularly enjoy working with young people and women, and I like to bring a mix of professionalism and a playful touch to make therapy feel engaging and approachable.
I provide support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, learning and academic challenges, social and peer difficulties, and family or relationship issues. I draw on a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, EMDR, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and play-based strategies. My approach is always tailored to the individual, considering their needs, experiences, and stage of life. When working with children, I involve their wider support network, including parents and schools, to make sure strategies are consistent and meaningful across all areas of life.
I also provide cognitive, educational, and ADHD assessments for children. These assessments not only help families make sense of challenges but also shine a light on a child’s strengths, giving an overall picture of how they learn, think, and engage with the world. Support is built not just around difficulties, but around what the child already does well.
