Wellbeing Groups

Our wellbeing groups in Perth offer a supportive, gentle way to reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and build emotional resilience alongside others in a safe, guided environment. These groups are designed to complement individual therapy and are facilitated by experienced practitioners.

At Headway, our wellbeing groups focus on mind-body practices that support mental health, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. They are suitable for people experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, trauma recovery, or anyone seeking a deeper sense of balance and connection.

Trauma Informed Yoga

A movement practice designed to support people who have experienced trauma. The practice emphasises choice and agency with the aim of building a sense of safety within the body. It increases body awareness in a safe and gradual way, supports nervous system regulation, and promotes feelings of embodiment. While traditional yoga practices focus on poses, trauma-informed yoga is about the process of creating presence and connection between mind and body in a way that feels right for everyone. For more information on what Trauma-Informed Yoga is, visit our blog post here.

Sessions are facilitated by exercise physiologist Sarah Penter and will be held at our Shenton Park office.
