Post Grad Dip – Exercise Rehabilitation
Movement has always been a passion of mine because of the myriad of benefits it provides both physically and for our mental well-being. With over 15 years of experience working one-on-one with clients, teaching Pilates, and in various corporate well-being roles, I have found that what I enjoy most is connecting with people and helping them experience the benefits and joy that exercise and movement can bring. I love being able to share my knowledge and passion for physical activity and, in doing so, support people to move well in their bodies and utilise tailored exercise programs to self-manage musculoskeletal pain and injuries, chronic conditions, and their mental health.
Growing up as a gymnast, I was exposed to the benefits of regular physical activity from a young age; however, it also highlighted the impacts of over-training and undernourishing on the body, in particular for females and their reproductive health. With this, I am extremely passionate about women’s health, perinatal mental health and disordered eating, and I look forward to supporting females to develop healthy relationships with their bodies and movement during all phases of life.
I pride myself on being approachable, open, and warm. When you come to see me, I tailor sessions based on your personal goals and incorporate various types of exercise, including Pilates and mobility work, resistance training, functional movements, and cardio exercise (walking, cycling, running). I am excited to help workers’ compensation clients get back to work as part of Headway’s holistic service, to work with clients as part of the Employee Wellbeing Service and anyone else who would like guidance and support when exercising for their health.
