Bachelor of Science (Psychological Science)
Master of Clinical Psychology
Hi! I am a registered psychologist and have experience practicing in a number of private practice settings working with people of varying ages and a wide range of presenting issues. I completed my Bachelor of Science (Psychological Science) at Curtin University in Perth, following which I completed my Masters of Clinical Psychology at Bond University, Queensland.
My approach is client-centred, and I am passionate about being an advocate for my clients and adapting therapy to each client’s individual goals and needs, while utilising evidence-based techniques. I will help you understand the specific problems you are experiencing, and the parts of yourself you wish to improve, and pair this with psychological approaches to assist you on your personal growth journey. I have experience in and utilise a number of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also utilise skills and techniques informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Intensive Short Term Psychodynamic Therapy (ISTDP).
I have experience working with and a special interest in a number of presenting problems including depression, anxiety (generalized anxiety, social phobia, specific phobia), peri/postnatal mental health, relationship difficulties, disordered eating patterns, trauma based disorders (PTSD, C-PTSD), grief & loss, and attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
