I’m Jess! I wear a few different hats at Headway Psychology.
First and foremost, I’m a clinical psychologist and have been for over a decade. I love working with people, especially those struggling with any kind of anxiety related concern (panic disorder, OCD, social or performance anxiety). I am also experienced in working with emotional regulation difficulties, self harm and trauma. I generally work with adolescents (13+) and adults and practice from a range of therapy modalities including; CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR and schema therapy.
As a qualified yoga teacher, I’ve worked to integrate psychology and movement to offer a stress reduction option as Headway. The stress reduction program incorporates; education, breath work, mindfulness skills and movement, and is tailored to the individual. Practical stress reduction is something that I’m truly passionate about and I love that these skills can be used proactively or reactively depending on the individual’s situation.
Finally, I enjoy providing presentations and workshops to Headway’s EWS customers. These have included presentations on topics including mindfulness, yoga and breathwork, sleep, challenging thoughts and emotional regulation.
If any of my ‘hats’ resonate with you please reach out, I’d love to meet you!
