I aim to conduct therapy with clients with a broad framework of compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and empathy. I’m passionate about providing person-centered care that considers the whole person, not just individual symptoms that may bring someone to therapy, to assist my clients to build insight into themselves and what they need to live authentic and fulfilling lives.
I have experience and training in a range of evidence-based intervention styles, including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Schema Therapy. My practice is informed by theoretical approaches such as attachment theory and humanistic psychology. At the end of the day, however, my primary goal is to provide therapy that is tailored specifically to the needs and circumstances that you bring into the room.
I welcome clients with a wide range of life experiences and work with both adolescent and adult clients. I have a particular passion for working with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community, and I have experience working with presentations such as depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, grief, and interpersonal issues.
Navigating the challenges of life can be daunting, and having support in facing those challenges can make all the difference. If you feel ready to reach out for support to prioritise your mental wellbeing, I would be privileged to join you on that journey.
