Master of Clinical Psychology
Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons)
I have joined Headway Psychology as a Clinical Psychologist to offer individualised support to people across the lifespan, and I welcome clients with a wide range of life experiences. I am particularly passionate about working with couples, women, post natal, infant mental health and children.
I have over 12 years’ experience that relates to mental health, youth, homelessness, substance use, LGBTIQ+ and research. I have experience working with presenting factors such as depression, anxiety, trauma, peri and post-natal mental health, infant mental health, and interpersonal issues.
I am trained in Schema Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mentalisation Based Therapy (MBT). My practice is informed by theoretical approaches such as attachment theory and humanistic psychology.
I provide a compassionate, safe, and supportive environment in which my clients can explore the issues and challenges they face. I endeavor to consider the whole picture, not just individual symptoms, in my work. I utilise a person-centered and strengths-based approach in my work with people, recognising that each person comes with their own intrinsic wisdom and lived experience, in order to meet their individually tailored treatment needs.
No person is an island, and we all need support from others at some point in our lives. If you are ready to take the step of reaching out for support, it would be a privilege to be a part of your journey.
